+Why you’re the best person to write this article

Follow these tips to write a good Loving My Wild article:

Don’t be afraid of honesty.

We’re all just figuring life out as we. We’re not here to be perfect, and no one is here to judge or criticize, we’re all here to feel a little less lonely in what we’re experiencing. In fact, part of Loving My Wild’s mission is to normalize the messiness of self improvement.

Pick an objective for your article.

Is your article to teach? Inform? Inspire? To be relatable? Make someone feel? Picking an objective for your article will make it easier for you to have a focus and purpose while writing.

It’s okay to have different views and perspectives, as long as it’s done in a respectful way. Loving My Wild isn’t a place to justify what is right and wrong, or good and bad. We encourage you to share your insight and perspectives, even if it is vastly different than someone else’s, because it might spark something within someone else.

Everyone is entitled to their own views, beliefs, and perspectives.

Whether it’s recovering from an eating disorder or a book that inspired you, no topic is off the table. We’re here to learn ways to improve ourselves both big and small.

No topic is too serious, or not serious enough.

Give us the backstory.

The backstory behind why your story played out is just as important as how it did. Tell us what led you to your newfound beliefs, or the perspective you’ve adopted. We want to hear why you made the decisions you did.

Be vulnerable.

Vulnerability is a super power. Connect to your emotions. Tug at our heart strings. Put your true thoughts and feelings into words. People connect with stories that they see themselves in, but are too afraid to speak about themselves.

Be you.

Be funny, be authentic, be open, be vulnerable. Connect with the audience. Let people into your world to show them that we are all human along this journey. There is no one way to do self improvement, and we want you to shine your light through your individual story and experience.
